In cooperation with the Arab Organization for Agricultural
Development, goats were distributed in the areas of Ghor Fifa and Mamoura in
the southern Jordan Valley. As phase one of the project, 30 families where
provided with 5 goats each, in addition to fodder that is meant to last them a
period of six months. For the two years following the distribution, 5 newly
born female goats will be sent to a goat breeding station which is operated
under the project in Deir Alla area to be fattened and bred, after which goats
will be distributed to 30 other families in a different area.
