Water harvesting and maintenance of Roman wells project
This project was carried out in 2017–2018 in collaboration with the Ministry of Planning, the Jordanian Water Authority, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Agricultural Credit Corporation.
The project's main goal was the reclamation of Romanian water wells in order to enhance the water supply for underprivileged areas and the long-term sustainability of family food security.
The project, which was carried out in Al Mafraq's Rehab area, featured the rehabilitation of twelve wells on two phases with a storage capacity of 1603.9 cubic meters. Beneficiaries of the project also participated in lectures on home farming, water conservation, and fish breeding.
